Primary Program

Why is the three-year cycle of the primary level so important?  Watch this video to find out about the kindergarten year.

The primary Montessori classroom is a multi-age group of preschool and kindergarten students ranging from the ages of 3 to 6.  Children who are 2 ½ years old and are fully toilet trained can be enrolled in the program. There are two morning primary classes and two afternoon primary classes.  The 3rd level students (kindergarten year) attend school for the full day.  Kindergarten students work on 3rd level Montessori lessons in addition to other subjects such as Spanish, music, art, and physical education. See the complete schedule for arrival and dismissal times.

  • Morning Primary Classes - 8:30 to 11:00

  • Afternoon Primary Classes - 12:40 to 3:10

  • Full-Day Kindergarten - 8:30 to 3:10
